Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Gravel Health (“I”, “me”, “the Site”) handles personal data when you visit gravelhealth.com. It is written to follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What I collect

I keep this to the minimum:

  • Email you send me. If you email me, I receive your email address and whatever you write. I use it only to reply to you.
  • Technical data handled by my hosting. When you load a page, the hosting provider (Cloudflare) sees your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. This is standard for any website and is used to deliver the page and to protect it from abuse.

The Site has no accounts, no comments, no contact form and no newsletter. At the time of writing it uses no advertising or analytics cookies (see the Cookie Policy). I don't knowingly collect data from children, and I don't collect sensitive categories of data.

2. Why I use it (lawful basis)

Replying to your email is my legitimate interest in answering people who contact me. Hosting and securing the Site is my legitimate interest in running a safe website.

3. Who else sees it

  • Hosting and security: Cloudflare, Inc., which also provides the Site's domain name and email forwarding.
  • Search engines: I use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to see how the Site appears in search. These show me aggregated search data, not information about individual visitors.
  • Affiliate programmes: if you click an affiliate link (for example Amazon, or a retailer through Awin), that company may set cookies and process your data under its own privacy policy. See the Affiliate Disclosure.

I don't sell your data. Some providers are based outside the UK; where that applies, transfers rely on the safeguards those providers publish.

4. How long I keep it

Emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your message and any follow-up, and then deleted. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider under its own retention rules.

5. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Email contactus@gravelhealth.com and I'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with my response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

6. Changes

If I add analytics, advertising or a newsletter later, I'll update this page and the Cookie Policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
