The comeback ride — four months off the bike, a bad knee, and the back road along Loch Tay.
Ridden 5 May 2024, the back road from Killin along the shore of Loch Tay to Kenmore — further out than the usual home loop, into proper Highland Perthshire. This was Kevin's first ride in four months, carrying a knee injury that runs through a lot of the rides logged from home turf across 2023–2024.
Route data (from Strava): 57.6km, 862m of climbing — a serious return-to-riding distance for a first day back.
Kevin's own note from the ride log: "First time on the bike in 4 months. Still got knee issues to be sorted this year, cruciate problems."
The route, from Kevin's own GPS track
The actual recorded route, plotted from Kevin's own Strava GPX/FIT data onto a real OpenStreetMap base.

📝 Kevin — needs your input
How's the knee now — worth an update line on how the cruciate issue resolved?
Any stop in Kenmore itself, or straight there and back?
The 3 photos above are from a Killin visit in April 2024, a few weeks before this ride — happy with that, or is there a better match from the actual ride day?
